Founded in Melbourne in 2018, Meet A Recruiter harnesses the expertise of Recruitment Consultants from leading agencies to provide struggling job seekers with free advice and guidance on how to overcome the hurdles they are facing in securing their next role.
With three to four events a year hosted across Australia and New Zealand, Meet a Recruiter offers job seekers a complimentary 20 minute consultation with a recruitment consultant to discuss (and hopefully solve) any challenges they are facing in securing their next role.

- Communication advice
- Effective job search techniques
- How to build a standout LinkedIn profile
Once you’ve registered for a Meet a Recruiter, you’ll receive all the event details via email.
Meet a Recruiter events usually run from 4pm to 7pm. Individual consultations last for 20 minutes, and you’ll be able to select a specific appointment time when you register for the event.
We run on a pretty tight schedule, so we ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of your scheduled appointment to make sure we don’t have to rush. If you do arrive a little early, you’ll have access to a range of tips and tricks to read and take home with you.
Once your consultation starts, it’s all about you. Where are you at with your job search? What challenges are you facing? How can we help? So that we can make the most of our time together, please have a think about what you would like from meeting a recruiter, so that we can get stuck straight into it! And, if you’re hoping to review your CV, please be sure to bring a copy with you!
